Where nature meets responsibility

The Carpathians are more than just a mountain range – they’re one of the last untouched corners of Europe, home to ancient forests, crystal-clear rivers, and rich biodiversity. Every day, thousands of guests at Bukovel experience the raw beauty of this natural wonder.

Providing a safe and enjoyable stay is always our priority – but so is protecting this unique environment. That’s why Bukovel is committed to environmental stewardship in the heart of the Ukrainian Carpathians.

Reducing ecological footprint is essential for any modern resort. At Bukovel, we’re proud that many of our hotels have received international certifications for sustainable tourism – proof of our efforts in efficient resource use, waste reduction, and eco-friendly practices.

As of 2025, eleven hotels and restaurants across Bukovel have earned the globally recognized Green Key certification. Alongside RADISSON and GLACIER, newly certified properties include HAY by EDEM Family, TAVEL, HVOYA, TWINS, MOUNTAIN RESIDENCE, BUKOVEL HOTEL, BUKOVEL APART, BUKOVEL CHALET, SHELTER, and the NUMO restaurant.

But sustainable tourism isn’t about restriction – it’s about making thoughtful choices. We invite all our guests to join us in helping the Carpathians thrive.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

  • Protect nature: leave no litter, avoid disturbing wildlife, stay on marked trails.
  • Conserve resources: turn off taps and lights when not in use. Ask for towel or linen changes only when needed.
  • Be respectful: share space kindly – with guests, locals, and the mountains' wildlife.

Together, we can preserve this extraordinary region for generations to come!
