Ukraine's largest artificial lake

Bukovel's own Lake of Youth is the largest artificial lake in Ukraine, covering over 6 hectares, with a length of more than 750 meters, a width of 140 meters, and a depth reaching up to 15 meters. While the lake is the result of remarkable engineering, it blends seamlessly with the Carpathian landscape and the resort’s infrastructure, appearing to be a natural part of the environment. The lake has become a symbol of summer in the Carpathians, offering a rare combination of both mountain and seaside experiences. You can spend half your vacation hiking through the forest, and the other half relaxing by the water.

The lake is fed by mountain springs, ensuring its crystal-clear water and eco-friendly quality. Swimming in Lake of Youth is incredibly pleasant: the water temperature during the summer ranges from 20 to 23°C, making it an ideal place to cool off on a hot day and an excellent location for water sports. You can swim, cruise on pedal boats or SUP boards, and enjoy volleyball on the dedicated court by the shore.

Safety during water activities is ensured by lifeguards and medical staff. Special areas for children with safe water entry are also provided. For added comfort, guests can relax on sunbeds, enjoy shade canopies, and use the convenient changing rooms and showers.

Adjacent to the lake is a modern aquapark, where you can unwind in jacuzzis and pools with breathtaking views of the mountains and the “Carpathian Sea” – Lake of Youth. The complex also offers a variety of saunas, a massage area, a restaurant, and a bar. Regardless of the weather, there’s never a dull moment.

Why choose between the mountains and the sea for your vacation? Bukovel is the best of both worlds – mountain and seaside, an experience you’ll never forget.
