At Bukovel, practical solutions that are being introduced every day.
One of these steps is the gradual expansion of renewable energy use across the resort. Bukovel has installed new solar panels with a total capacity of 104 kW, bringing the resort’s overall solar generation capacity to more than 700 kW.
Solar power allows us to combine greater environmental responsibility with more efficient use of resources. Generating electricity directly at the resort helps cover part of Bukovel’s energy needs while reducing its dependence on external energy sources.
Renewable energy is already part of Bukovel’s energy mix. Last year, it accounted for 2.5% of all electricity consumed by the resort. We recognise that this is only the beginning. Bukovel will continue to explore opportunities to expand its own renewable energy generation and introduce further energy-efficiency measures.
Energy consumption is an essential part of the day-to-day operation of a large tourist resort. That is why every step towards using energy more efficiently and with a lower environmental impact makes a difference.
