— Mr. Hrynkiv, nice to meet you! Tell us how MAVKA aquapark is designed to accommodate people with disabilities?
— Hello, and thanks for the question. At MAVKA, inclusivity is a core principle. We go to great lengths to ensure that every guest – regardless of physical ability – feels safe, comfortable, and welcome.
Here are some of the accessibility features we’ve implemented:
- Step-free entrances and interior pathways to ensure seamless access to all main areas;
- Lowered curbs and accessible pedestrian crossings for easier navigation by wheelchair users, parents with strollers, and visually impaired guests;
- Tactile paving on main routes, both indoors and out, to assist visually impaired visitors;
- Elevators adapted for wheelchair access;
- Fully equipped changing rooms, bathrooms, and shower cabins with support rails, lowered fixtures, and emergency call buttons;
- Braille signage and high-contrast visual markers to improve visibility and orientation;
- Highlighted stairs and railings;
- Staff trained in inclusive etiquette and how to provide appropriate assistance.
We’re committed to making MAVKA a place where everyone can enjoy their time, and we’re always open to ideas for further improvements.
— What sustainable solutions are in place at the aquapark?
— At MAVKA, we understand that sustainability isn’t just a trend – it’s a responsibility. That’s why we incorporated a number of energy-efficient and environmentally conscious features right from the drawing board:
- LED lighting with automated controls throughout the aquapark and its adjacent areas;
- Smart multi-zone climate control systems that adjust based on occupancy;
- Heat recovery systems that reuse exhaust air for heating water and indoor spaces;
- Heat pumps to support our hot water and heating needs;
- High-efficiency filtration and pumping systems that minimize energy use;
- Water-saving fixtures in showers, restrooms, and filtration infrastructure;
- And a unique feature: at night, outdoor pools are drained into insulated tanks to preserve water temperature and reduce evaporation. The water is returned in the morning, reducing heating costs and conserving resources.
Thanks to this integrated approach, we’ve created a modern, energy-efficient facility that aligns with our values – and those of our guests.
— Is MAVKA planning any expansion?
— Yes, we’re actively preparing for future growth and new attractions:
- We plan to install six new waterslides – faster, more exciting, and designed to delight thrill-seekers;
- Outdoor terraces will open as the weather warms, offering beautiful views of the Carpathians, the Ferris wheel, and Lake of Youth;
- Poolside bars will be launched, where guests might enjoy a refreshing drink without leaving the water – our version of a tropical escape, right here in Bukovel.
Every season at MAVKA brings something fresh – we believe in constant evolution.
— What special offers are currently available?
— We want to make MAVKA both memorable and accessible. Here’s what we’ve prepared:
- Evening Entry: From 20:00 to 22:00, tickets are just 1000 UAH – perfect for a relaxed evening visit with stunning views;
- Family Discount: Families of two adults and at least one child receive a 15% discount on regular admission;
- Group Rates: For groups of 15 or more, we offer customized deals, early bookings, and discounts – ideal for school trips, corporate outings, or tour groups.
We also host themed events on holidays, complete with shows, workshops, quests, and photo zones.
And of course, our team of professional animators is here year-round – creating daily fun, games, and memories for guests of all ages.
