The Bukovel Sustainable Development Office hosted the "GREEN FUTURE 2025" event, uniting tourism industry leaders – including hotel and restaurant managers – with the resort’s partners.
The program began with a summary of the Office’s nine-month achievements, followed by a Q&A session with guests.
A public discussion highlighted the sustainable practices implemented across hotels. Attendees exchanged insights on the future of hospitality – a vision that combines environmental responsibility, guest comfort, and social accountability.
The highlight of the event was the ceremonial presentation of awards crafted from recycled plastic by Recast Plastic. Ten hospitality establishments that achieved Green Key international certification in spring 2025 were recognized for their commitment to sustainability.
The gathering concluded with a friendly networking session, where partners shared reflections on the summer season 2025 and discussed plans for the upcoming winter season.
"Bukovel is actively shaping the green future of Ukrainian tourism. Together, we pursue sustainable reforms rooted in environmental care, inclusivity, renewable energy, and a new culture of responsible recreation," said Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of the Bukovel Sustainable Development Office.
The "Green Future 2025" event was hosted at the HVOYA hotel restaurant premises, providing a fitting setting for discussion, celebration, and collaboration.
