Children of Ukrainian servicemen at MAVKA aquapark

Recently, nearly 80 children from the villages of Polianytsia, Yablunytsia, Voronenko, and Bystrytsia enjoyed a fun-filled day at MAVKA Aquapark in Bukovel. The event, dedicated to the end of the school year, was jointly organised by Bukovel and MAVKA Aquapark.

The day’s agenda included a range of exciting activities such as creative workshops, lively interactive games, vibrant flash mobs, and magical bubble shows.

“We’d been dreaming of visiting the aquapark ever since it opened – and today, that dream came true! We tried every slide, and the wave pool… it felt just like the sea!” the children shared joyfully.

Bukovel continues to collaborate actively with the Polianytsia community, regularly organising joyful and memorable events for children.

“Good deeds for the future is our guiding vision. That’s why we’re committed to ongoing cooperation with the community. For us, sustainability means inclusiveness, partnership, and collective progress,” says Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of Bukovel’s Office for Sustainable Development.

Reminder: Bukovel and the Polianytsia municipality have previously signed a memorandum of cooperation on sustainable development.

Also in May, Bukovel launched an educational initiative called “Sustainability for Children.” As part of the project, the Office for Sustainable Development held two classroom sessions at Polianytsia School, teaching students about waste sorting and everyday eco-friendly habits.
