Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Bukovel has been supporting military personnel, their families and children.
As part of its sustainable development program for veteran support, the resort cooperates with charitable foundations and public organizations, providing children of military families with free amusements upon prior request. That include our Ferris Wheel, folk-park Hutsul Land, and panoramic lifts.
"This is part of our mission to support Ukraine and invest in the future of our nation," says Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of Bukovel’s Sustainable Development Office. "In June, we organized a special visit to the MAVKA aquapark for children from Polianytsia village. For the fourth consecutive year, as a part of our cooperation with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Bukovel hosts military personnel and their families for week-long retreats, providing accommodation, meals, and complimentary access to attractions: MAVKA aquapark, Ferris Wheel, panoramic lifts, Hutsul Land folk-park."
This summer, Bukovel partnered with the “Children of Defenders” charity camp, an initiative of the chaplain service of the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade in Cherkasy. As the kids head home from the Carpathians, their unanimous sentiment is: “We want to come back!”
"Over 200 children from our camp visited Bukovel this summer and enjoyed an unforgettable time atop of Mt. Bukovel and having a panoramic lift ride. They explored our themed folk-park Hutsul Land, enchanted by its traditional houses and live animal encounters, and the Ferris Wheel added vivid memories and stunning photos to their adventure," shares Mykola Kalko, Director of the charity camp.
