Bukovel × Vchasno: five years of digital partnership

Greetings! How and when did the partnership between Bukovel and Vchasno.EDO begin?

The partnership with Bukovel started back in 2021, when the resort team began rethinking internal workflows and searching for modern ways to organise processes. Over time, it became clear that digital tools were a natural next step for improving efficiency and supporting long-term business growth. In this regard, Vchasno became a digitalisation partner, helping simplify and streamline everyday operations across the company.

How many litres of water and how many trees have been saved over the years?

Since the beginning of our cooperation, Bukovel has sent and received more than 31,345 electronic documents through Vchasno.EDO. Moving to digital document management has not only improved operational efficiency but also reduced environmental impact. Altogether, this transition helped save around 15 trees and approximately 7,000 litres of water. It is a clear example of how operational decisions can support both business performance and responsible resource management.

Why does Ukraine need digitalisation?

Ukraine is already among the world’s top five countries in terms of digital public services, and businesses are moving in the same direction. Digitalisation helps companies stay competitive, work faster and reduce routine manual processes. It also creates more transparent and flexible business operations. In many ways, digital transformation is a shift to a culture focused on efficiency, speed and adaptability.

Would you say Bukovel actively integrates electronic document management based on recent statistics?

Absolutely. In the latest reporting period alone, more than 13,000 documents were processed through Vchasno services. The system already connects hundreds of counterparties, including 477 customers and 159 suppliers. This clearly shows that digital tools at Bukovel are no longer occasional solutions – they have become part of the resort’s daily operational ecosystem.

How would you describe the cooperation between Vchasno and the Bukovel Sustainable Development Office?

We share the same core values: responsible resource management and a long-term focus on sustainable development. Our cooperation is practical and systematic. Together, we analyse workflows and identify where digital tools can effectively replace paper-based processes. Each step helps improve business efficiency while also strengthening operational sustainability.

Why is digital document management part of sustainable development beyond environmental aspects?

Digital document management is about much more than reducing paper use. It makes business processes faster, more transparent and less dependent on human factor. It simplifies communication between teams and partners while also reducing costs related to printing, logistics and storage. Most importantly, it increases resilience. Companies that are free from paper workflows or physical locations can adapt much faster and operate more efficiently. In this sense, services like Vchasno form the foundation for stable and long-term business growth.

How does Ukraine look today in terms of electronic document management implementation? Are there any international benchmarks?

When it comes to business digitalisation, Ukraine is a strong mid-level player with very high potential. In some areas, Ukrainian companies are already ahead of many European businesses in automation and process flexibility. We see strong demand across industries including agriculture, logistics and retail. What makes Ukrainian business unique is its willingness to adopt digital solutions proactively, before regulations require it. Electronic transport waybills in logistics are a good example of this. Ukrainian companies do not wait for perfect conditions – they create them independently.

Final question: what do you personally like about Bukovel today and how much has the resort changed in recent years?

What stands out most is Bukovel’s approach to digitalisation. The team consistently integrates digital solutions into operational processes and sees technology as a driver of growth rather than just a technical tool. In recent years, the resort has made a significant transition toward a more technological, efficient and well-managed operational model. In that sense, our approaches are very similar – and that creates a strong foundation for long-term partnership and shared development.
