Bukovel employees take part in fire safety training

On 21 October, Bukovel resort employees attended a fire safety training session designed to strengthen their knowledge and develop practical skills that could make a critical difference in an emergency.

The training brought together staff from MAVKA aquapark, Bukovel Medical Center and the resort's administrative office, alongside department heads.

Held at the volunteer fire brigade's premises, the session combined essential theory with hands-on experience. The deputy head of the fire brigade introduced participants to different types of fire extinguishers, explaining how they are constructed and operated, the main classes of fires and the appropriate extinguishing methods.

The practical exercises were a particularly valuable part of the training. Participants had the opportunity to operate fire extinguishers and fire hoses themselves, practising how to tackle a simulated fire. They also explored the fire engines and their equipment and even tried on a firefighter's heat-resistant protective suit. This gave them a firsthand appreciation of the importance of specialist equipment and the extensive training required for emergency responders.

Training like this goes far beyond learning new information. It helps people build the confidence to respond effectively in critical situations, remain composed under pressure and understand how sound decisions and coordinated action can protect lives and health.

We would like to thank our colleagues from the fire brigade for sharing their expertise, providing valuable practical experience and delivering such an informative training session!
