Bukovel Sporting Ballroom Dance Cup
On August 10th, first international ballroom dances assembly started in Yaremche town. Events training schedule was designed by top choreographers, known Ukrainian coaches, event-makers and international level judges - Sergiy Frantsen and Juriy Vasutjak; and a couple of specialists and referees from Italy and Israel. It includes 130 hours of intensive theoretical and practical course in European, classic and Latin-American choreography, art of acting and physical conditions improvement.

This massive event will host hundreds of sportsmen from 12 regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Vinnytsja, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Chernigiv and Ivano-Frankivsk, also joined by dancers from Italy, Spain, Turkey and Israel.

It is necessary to point out that together with amateur and junior level participants – multiple Champions of Ukraine, Europe and World Champions will attend the course. Their contribution will surely be of a value, as their skills and technique may be referred as the master level.

Training assembly will be followed by the first in Carpathians international sporting dances competitions, supported by Olexandr Shevchenko, people’s deputy of Ukraine. Those are intended to become a yearly dance event from now on.

Though the first contest is expected to host about 100 dance duets, we believe that thanks to sponsorship, intact mountain nature, high service level here at TC “Bukovel” and favorable geographical position – this competition is capable of becoming a huge event with thousands of participants from Ukraine and Europe. In a long run, this may even earn the status of a major sporting dance midpoint in the world.

As Olexander Shevchenko pointed out, the special present for all the audience and sponsors will be the showcase performance by Anton Nesterenko and Daria Maruschenko. “Through supporting our brand new event, this brilliant dance duo is willing to express love and respect to the Country and Homeland”.
