Artek-Bukovel is located in the most scenic place of the Ukrainian Carpathians, at an altitude of 920 meters above the sea level, on the territory of the major ski resort. The greatest peak of the region, mt. Hoverla (2061m) is only 22 kilometers away from the camp.
Our choice of location was not spontaneous: Artek is easy-to-reach from any spot of Ukraine and abroad, being close to the international airport, railway and bus stations, boasting convenient transport junction. The camp is located 35 kilometers away from Yaremche and 100 kilometers south-west from the region's city, Ivano-Frankivsk.
Our picturesque and perfectly lanscaped mountain region provides excellent opportunities for rest and recreation, with beautiful valleys and meadows, diverse flora and fauna, crystal clear streams and odorous alpine air. The Ukraine's largest artificial alpine lake, the Bukovelian Lake of Youth, is a major summer tourist destination, featuring entertainment and services being exclusive to seaside resorts so far.
Located among mountains and meadows which offer magnificent views, Artek offers campers an opportunity to climb some of these peaks: Khomiak, Syniak, Dovha; we also arrange trips to crocus valleys and the mountain meadow Blazhiv.
