"Artek-Bukovel" is located in the Ukrainian Carpathians, the most scenic place of Ukraine, 920 MASL, at the foot of mt. Bukovel, on the territory of the famous tourist complex. The highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, mt. Goverla (2061 MASL) is only 22 kilometers away from the camp.
Our picturesque and perfectly lanscaped mountain region provides an excellent opportunity for rest and recreation, with beautiful valleys and meadows, diverse flora and fauna, crystal clear streams and odorous alpine air.
Major places of interest: Yablunytsia mountain pass (the highest in Ukraine), Zhenetskiy waterfall, landscape park, Dovbush Cliffs, Yaremche waterfall, Egg-painting museum in Kolomyia town, household, ethnography and musical instruments museums.
Our choice of location was not spontaneous: Artek is easy-to-reach from any spot of Ukraine and abroad, close to the international airport, railway and bus stations, boasting convenient transport junction. The camp is located 35 kilometers away from Yaremche town and 100 kilometers south-west from Ivano-Frankivsk.
"Artek-Bukovel" provides a round-the-year-study recreation option, as general education school is also nearby, in Polyanytsya village.
