Bukovel has taken another step toward environmental modernization by installing solar panels with a total capacity of 0.6 MW on the roof of car park #1. The project supports the resort’s long-term strategy to expand the use of renewable energy sources.
Hotels across the resort are also contributing to this transition. SHELTER recently completed its own solar installation, following the example of HAY by Edem Family. Additional hotels and restaurants at Bukovel are expected to implement similar upgrades in the coming months.
“We’re making a steady shift toward modern technologies. It’s both an environmental commitment and a practical investment in long-term energy efficiency,” said Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of Bukovel’s Office for Sustainable Development.
The use of solar panels reflects the resort’s broader goal of aligning with responsible tourism practices and reducing its environmental footprint.
Earlier this year, Bukovel joined the global Climate Friendly Travel initiative, further reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development.
