During a special event for tour operators from all over Ukraine, Bukovel’s Sustainability Office presented the resort’s milestones and priorities in sustainable development. The presentation highlighted Bukovel’s commitment to staying ahead of global trends and becoming an even more responsible and appealing destination.
“We emphasized the integration of the Green Key program in 12 hospitality facilities at Bukovel. This internationally recognized certification reflects our focus on high standards of environmental management, energy efficiency, and eco-awareness. We also introduced an upcoming initiative launching in July – Bring Your Own Cup. It rewards guests who bring reusable cups with a discount on drinks at Bukovel’s hotels and restaurants. This program aims to reduce single-use plastics and encourage responsible choices,” said Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of Bukovel’s Sustainability Office.
Tourism industry representatives welcomed these efforts and stressed the importance of sustainable practices for Ukraine’s travel sector.
