New trees

As part of the Green Bukovel sustainability program, young maples were planted this spring along the Hutsul Market. This greening initiative is another step towards creating a comfortable, shaded space for resort guests to enjoy.

The Green Bukovel program is designed to enhance the resort's ecological sustainability, preserve the rich biodiversity of the Carpathians, and nurture a new culture of respect for nature among tourists.

"Maples, besides adding aesthetic value, play a crucial role in improving air quality and strengthening the climate resilience of the area. Greening efforts will continue as the resort keeps investing in the 'green lungs' of the Carpathians," says Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of the Bukovel Sustainable Development Office.

Additionally, as part of the Green Bukovel initiative, a collection box for used batteries and accumulators has been installed at the Bukovel Info Center in collaboration with a local NGO.
