Bukovel’s mission for sustainable development

OUR MISSION

We are committed to the consistent implementation of sustainable development practices, ensuring a balance between environmental responsibility, social justice, inclusivity, and economic growth. Our goal is to contribute to the region’s development while considering the interests of tourists, entrepreneurs, local communities, and environmental conservation.

OUR GOAL

We strive to establish long-term conditions for expanding tourism services, improving the quality of life for local communities, and preserving environmental resources, as well as the natural, social, and cultural heritage for future generations.

OUR STRATEGY

We focus on the comprehensive development of all tourism sectors while maintaining a responsible and sustainable approach to nature and the socio-cultural environment. This includes humanitarian education for all stakeholders – tourists, local communities, authorities, NGOs, and businesses.

  • Green Destinations certification: We have initiated the process of certifying Bukovel under the Green Destinations standard, a globally recognized framework for measuring, monitoring, and implementing sustainable development principles in tourism. Destinations worldwide are adapting their economic models, management systems, and social policies to meet sustainability standards and earn international recognition.
  • ESG approach: We integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our corporate strategy. This approach emphasizes transparency and accountability in evaluating how our policies align with sustainable development objectives.
  • Bukovel Better: We are launching a large-scale project that unites businesses, society, and government in implementing sustainable development principles within the Ukrainian economy, particularly in the Carpathian region.

OUR VISION

Our goal is to become a leader and trendsetter in sustainable development, integrating these principles into the economic, environmental, and social agenda of the Carpathian region and Ukraine as a whole.
