A major step forward for the Ivano-Frankivsk region: Bukovel has signed a cooperation memorandum with the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Development Agency, aiming to foster sustainable development across the Carpathian foothills.
This new initiative lays the groundwork for joint efforts in infrastructure support, tourism growth, and the preservation of natural landscapes.
“For us at Bukovel, this partnership marks real progress,” said Iryna Furdela from the resort’s Sustainable Development Office. “We’ve had productive conversations, aligned our goals, and now we’re ready to put this shared vision into action.”
Tetiana Zbyrak, Director of the Regional Development Agency, added: “Our ambition is to shape Prykarpattia into a balanced, forward-thinking region – where the economy, tourism, and environment work hand in hand for the common good.”
The partnership will focus on:
- Building strong tourism clusters;
- Supporting sustainability and environmental projects;
- Promoting tourism and creative industry programs;
- Launching educational initiatives across the region.
Together, Bukovel and the agency are setting a course for positive change – creating new opportunities for communities, attracting investment, and promoting Prykarpattia as a leading destination in Ukraine’s travel landscape.
