Bukovel earns a diploma at the CSR Case event 2025

Bukovel has been awarded a diploma at the XIV Corporate Social Responsibility Case Competition event 2025 for its case “Establishment of the Bukovel Sustainable Development Office”.

The distinction highlights the resort’s consistent and structured approach to sustainability, as well as the implementation of practices that combine environmental responsibility, social engagement and a long-term vision for the development of tourism infrastructure.

The Office of Sustainable Development at Bukovel was established as a coordination hub bringing together the efforts of multiple resort departments. Its role is not to replace existing processes, but to align them – from environmental initiatives and service standards to communications, accessibility and cooperation with local communities.

“This diploma is not about one department alone. It recognises the collective work of the entire resort. Sustainable development at Bukovel is shaped by the daily decisions of hundreds of people – across service, infrastructure, safety, management and communications. The Office of Sustainable Development helps unite these efforts into a shared framework and serves as a support centre for ideas and forward-looking strategies,” says Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of the Office of Sustainable Development at Bukovel.

Participation in, and recognition from, national CSR competitions plays an important role not only as professional acknowledgment, but also as a tool for strengthening the resort’s reputation and visibility at both national and international levels. This, in turn, builds trust among guests, partners and investors, while enhancing the overall tourism appeal of the region.
