Two air quality monitoring sensors have been installed on the territory of Bukovel resort. One is located atop Mt. Dovha, while the other is positioned near the fair square and the rodelbahn lower station.
These sensors measure the Air Quality Index (AQI), a global standard developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. A higher AQI value indicates greater air pollution and a higher potential impact on health.
In the Bukovel valley, AQI ranges from 28 to 55 on average, which is within the normal range and considered safe for human health.
In addition to air quality data, the sensors also provide real-time outdoor temperature, wind speed and direction, and air humidity measurements.
Air quality information for Bukovel is available in the AirVisual application. Users can also view the AQI history for the past 30 days and a seven-day weather forecast for the region.
