Today, on World Bicycle Day, we’re reminded of the many benefits that two-wheeled transport offers – from improved health and reduced environmental impact to its role in advancing sustainable development.
At Bukovel, cycling is more than just a recreational activity – it’s an integral part of our commitment to responsible tourism. With air quality as one of our ongoing priorities (two air monitoring sensors were installed in January 2025), bikes offer a low-impact, accessible way to explore the resort – whether you're here for a relaxed ride or seeking an adrenaline rush.
Currently, five bike rental shops are available across the resort, offering both bicycles and e-scooters for rent:
- Rental shop #1 – opposite car park #1;
- Rental shop #2 – near lift #2;
- Rental shop #9 – close to the biathlon stadium;
- Rental shop #8 – at the “Mountain Residence” hotel;
- Rental shop #13 – at the “Radisson” hotel.
Bukovel also features nearly 30 kilometers of dedicated cycling routes, including:
- From car park #1 to the Ferris Wheel;
- Around the biathlon stadium;
- From the sports grounds to the Radisson Hotel;
- From Tbiliso restaurant to Rental shop #8.
For mountain biking enthusiasts, Bukovel is home to one of Ukraine’s premier downhill bike parks, offering professionally built trails across multiple difficulty levels – from beginner-friendly blue tracks to more technical red and black options. The park is already open for the season.
Bukovel also operates seven EV charging stations, supporting our broader green mobility efforts and long-term vision of a low-carbon tourism destination.
