Dog training at Bukovel

On Saturday, August 9, Bukovel welcomed an exciting event for dog owners: the Zachyn Animal Adoption and Training Center held its very first open training session. The format focused on giving each visitor individual attention. No matter the breed, size, or age, every dog was welcome – from Chihuahuas and Toy Terriers to Hungarian Vizslas, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and Kurzhaars.

The session took place on Slope 7, in resort's vibrant Atlas Weekend Bar & Apres Ski area.

Participants enjoyed a mix of activities: warm-up exercises, practical and theoretical training, owner guidance, and short breaks to keep the dogs happy and engaged. The event wrapped up with a lively Q&A, where owners could ask trainers all their burning questions.

“Bukovel was our choice because it’s a central hub in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, attracting many potential adopters and pet parents who are passionate about humane animal care. Today’s training was a success: dogs were motivated, owners were happy, and tails were wagging!” said Roman Romanov, Head of Animal Socialization at Zachyn.

Even visitors without dogs joined in, curious to learn tips on city adaptation for pets, reducing stress in multi-animal households, and fostering a positive relationship with their furry friends.
