July 7 marks Nature Conservation Workers’ Day in Ukraine – a time to honour the people devoted to preserving and enriching the country’s natural heritage. These are the individuals safeguarding forests, rivers, mountains, and wildlife so future generations can continue to enjoy the wonders of untouched nature.
Here at Bukovel, an all-season resort in the heart of the Carpathians, this day resonates strongly with our values.
We see it as our duty to care for the Carpathians – not only as a place of scenic beauty and adventure but as a delicate ecosystem that must be respected and protected. That’s why we partner with environmental institutions and national parks, such as the Carpathian National Nature Park, under a memorandum of cooperation for sustainable development.
Nature conservation workers are true everyday heroes. Their work – often unseen – keeps our air clean, preserves biodiversity, and ensures the natural world remains a place of wonder for everyone.
On this special day, we extend our gratitude to these dedicated individuals for their tireless efforts and commitment to the environment.
Your role is vital, and we thank you for helping to keep nature alive and thriving!
