July is one of the best times to experience Bukovel. The mountains are lush and green, the air is fresh, and the resort offers countless activities for families, couples, and groups of friends. While Bukovel is famous for skiing in winter, summer reveals a completely different side of the destination – filled with adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable moments.
1. Unwind at Lake of Youth
On a warm summer day, Lake of Youth beach is the perfect place to relax. Swim, sunbathe free of charge, or enjoy the stunning mountain scenery from a catamaran, which are available for hire near VODA Club. The lake features modern facilities, including public restrooms, a medical station, lifeguard posts, and well-maintained beaches where you can rent a sun lounger or bungalow and enjoy an ice cream. In 2026, Lake of Youth was awarded the prestigious international Blue Flag certification.
2. Spend the day at MAVKA aquapark
For all-weather water fun, visit MAVKA aquapark. With nine pools, six waterslides, a children's area, and a dedicated SPA zone overlooking the mountains, it is one of Bukovel's top summer attractions. The aquapark is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
3. Hike to Carpathian peaks
July offers perfect conditions for mountain hiking. From Bukovel, you can set out for Mt. Malyi Gorgan, Khomiak, Syniak, and many other scenic trails. Fresh mountain air, peaceful forests, and spectacular panoramic views make every hike rewarding, whether you are an experienced trekker or trying mountain hiking for the first time.
4. Experience Bike Park Bukovel
Bike Park Bukovel is one of Ukraine's largest mountain biking destinations. Its trails range from beginner-friendly routes to technically demanding trails, offering exciting rides through the beautiful Carpathian landscape.
5. Enjoy the rodelbahn ride
Our rodelbahn delivers twists, turns, speed, and excitement while allowing you to control your own pace. It's a fun experience for both adults and children.
6. Discover Hutsul Land folk-park
Step into the traditions of the Carpathians by visiting Hutsul Land folk-park. Meet local animals, sample regional treats, and explore Hutsul culture. Families will especially enjoy the experience. In 2026, the park also opened a free miniature exhibition featuring a scaled-down version of the park, located next to the ticket office.
7. Take the panoramic chairlift
Lift #2 operates throughout the summer, taking visitors to the summit in around 15 minutes. From the top of Mt. Bukovel, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Hoverla, Petros, Pip Ivan, and the surrounding mountain ranges, especially beautiful in July.
8. Explore the Carpathians on guided tours
Bukovel is a convenient base for discovering Yaremche, Probii Waterfall, Verkhovyna, Kolomyia, the Dovbush Cliffs, and many other iconic destinations. July is one of the best months for sightseeing across the region. We also highly recommend the guided tours organised by the Bukovel Tour Centre – they offer some truly unforgettable experiences.
9. Soak up the atmosphere of a Carpathian summer
Summer evenings in Bukovel are perfect for relaxing on panoramic restaurant terraces, enjoying live concerts and festivals, strolling through the forest, and simply slowing down to appreciate the beauty of nature.
10. Enjoy live concerts by popular artists
Throughout July, HVOYA and TAVEL hotels will host performances by popular artists, including Alena Omargalieva, KOLA, Jerry Heil, YAKTAK, Kalush Orchestra, Cheev, Skryabin, Pavlo Zibrov, and Ivan Popovych. Stand-up performances by Liera Mandziuk, Vova Shumko, and the VIP Ternopil comedy team are also planned. You can explore the full event calendar via the link.
