UKRAINIAN MOGUL SKI CHAMPIONSHIP
Mogul is free skiing on a steep, heavily moguled course, stressing technical turns, aerial maneuvers and speed. TC “Bukovel” has prepared a special moguled slope for training and competitive events. The slope fully meets all the European and Olympic standards for the competition.
Paired mogul is another young, yet ultimately spectacular freestyle discipline. Last year, the decision was made to add it to the Championship program, in order to popularize paired mogul amongst youth.
Ground scoring is performed by Olympic standards, generally through technical evaluation by referees, including total timing and performance level. Air is scored in two parts: form and difficulty.
Participants are being split into following age categories: kids, juniors, adults.
Competition schedule
March 19 – training sessions;
March 20 – qualifier round;
March 21 – finals;
March 22 – paired mogul qualifiers;
March 23 – paired mogul finals.
