Tour Center Bukovel invites you to the season’s first winter weekend fully dedicated to skitouring – crisp mountain air, focused training, and the kind of snowy landscapes that win your heart from the very first ascent. The program also includes the debut skitouring races across several routes.
Day 1 – 12.12 (Friday)
- skitouring gear test, first steps on the snow, and an easy warm-up session;
- evening ascent to Mt. Bukovel.
Day 2 – 13.12 (Saturday)
- morning warm-up;
- extended training session (2-3 hours) along snow-covered trails;
- focused practice of uphill and downhill technique;
- group discussion and recap of the day.
Day 3 – 14.12 (Sunday)
- greeting the sunrise atop Chorna Klyva;
- awards ceremony for participants.
The weekend will be guided by a professional coach and skitouring ambassadors:
- Klym Yurii, Olivson Oleksandr, Maksym Kozii.
Days of availability: December 12-14.
Price: 7000 UAH.
Make sure you have the following equipment:
- thermal underwear;
- fleece sweater;
- membrane jacket;
- pants (membrane or softshell);
- winter trekking boots;
- gloves (2 pairs);
- goggles/ski mask;
- buff/balaclava;
- warm headwear;
- snacks;
- thermos with tea;
- spare socks;
- 20-30 liter backpack.
