UKRAINIAN SKI MOUNTAINEERING CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP

Year after year, our resort remains a staple location for a variety of wintersport comperitions.

On January 27-28, the Ukrainian Ski Mountaineering Championship was held at Bukovel, hosted in collaboration with the Mountaineering and Rock Climbing Federation of Ukraine.

This year, excellent weather conditions made for a thrilling adventure and satisfying tracking experience. On the first day the sprint race took place, while the second one was dedicated to the individual race.

Despite ski mountaineering being a developing sport in Ukraine and gathering small audiences, we consider it to be a promising wintersport. Skitour is an alternative to trail races in winter, providing competitive experience in the conditions of deeper snow cover.

We heartily thank all the participants for visiting and congratulate the winners in the "Sprint" and "Individual race" disciplines.
