VOLODYMYR POVSHYK ART SHOWCASE

With winter season being in full swing, we continue to introduce our guests to the works of local artists. Therefore, tourists who visit the resort in January will be able to visit yet another art showcase event by Volodymyr Povshyk.

Lviv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts graduate.

The artist professes realistic and symbolistic painting, a separate metaphorical genre with a tendency to mysticism, his palettes are mostly saturated with brighter, juicy and warm colors. Volodymyr's realistic landscapes (city life and Carpathian mountains) are executed in the traditional oil-milling techniques. Some semi-fantastic landscapes tend to the style of the XVIII-XIX centuries.

The artist is a participant in regional, all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions, co-organizer of 10 nationwide plein airs held at "Bukovel" resort.

Member of NSCU since 2003. Laureate of Y. Lukavetsky regional artistic award, 2009. Сhairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional affiliate of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
