EUROPEAN AERIAL SKIING CUP 2020

We are pleased to inform that TC "Bukovel" is hosting a European Aerial Skiing Cup stage this year. The competition is scheduled for February 14 and 15.

Aerialists perform a series of 2 different difficulty attempts, as they ski off 3 different trampolines:

• triple – height 4,05 meters, gradient 70°,
• double – 3,5 meters, 65°,
• somersault – 2,1 meters, 55°.

Aerial skiing is a judged sport. Competitors receive a score based on jump takeoff, jump form and landing technique. A difficulty degree is then factored in for a total score.

Competition schedule:

February 14th, 2020, Slope 2А

• 09:40 - 10:10 – official training (ladies),
• 10:10 - 10:50 – qualifiers (ladies),
• 11:00 - 11:40 – official training (men),
• 11:50 - 12:20 – qualifiers (men),
• 12:30 - 13:00 – training for finalists,
• 13:00 - 14:00 – final runs (men/ladies).

February 15th, 2020, Slope 2А

• 09:00 - 09:40 – slope preparation,
• 09:40 - 10:10 – official training (ladies),
• 10:10 - 10:40 – qualifiers (ladies),
• 10:40 - 11:20 – official training (men),
• 11:20 - 11:50 – qualifiers (men),
• 12:00 - 12:30 – training for finalists,
• 12:30 - 13:00 – final runs (men/ladies),
• 15:00 - 16:00 – awarding ceremony.
