ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST'S DAY IN BUKOVEL

Mysterious and full of life, Ivana Kupala (St. John the Baptist's Day) is the most ancient summer holiday in Ukraine.

According to the legend, fem flower reveals its blossom on this midsummer night. Flower so rare, almost unreal, that led to the belief of it being capable of giving wisdom and ultimate knowledge of the world, heal wounds, help find treasures and provide aid in love affairs.

What will happen is a huge folk-influenced celebration with singing, live music, dances, courtship, guessing and chanting.
