Red Bull Roll The Dice contest recap

On 21 February, the STAV14 snowpark at Bukovel hosted Ukraine’s first winter Red Bull Roll The Dice – a unique jibbing contest for skiers and snowboarders.

The event brought together riders from across the country, becoming a landmark moment for the Ukrainian freestyle community. Red Bull, STAV14 and Bukovel joined forces to deliver the contest, supporting the growth of contemporary wintersports culture in Ukraine.

Red Bull Roll The Dice stands out for its unconventional mechanics: each trick was determined by a dice roll. The resulting combination became the rider’s task on the jib line.

Slope 8A was specially shaped for the contest and featured several rails of different geometries, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their technical skills, style and creativity.

Judging was handled by representatives of the ski and snowboard community, while MC Andrii Horoshanskyi and DJ TSY_snigtravel set the tone and kept the energy high.

Bringing Red Bull Roll The Dice to Bukovel marked another step in the development of Ukrainian freestyle culture, reaffirming the resort’s commitment to hosting international events and fostering the evolution of wintersports in Ukraine.
