Lake of Youth raises the Blue Flag

On 2 June at 10:30, Bukovel's Lake of Youth will officially raise the flag of the prestigious international Blue Flag programme.

"This is much more than a symbolic achievement – it is a recognised sign of water quality and safety, confirming compliance with more than 30 international criteria, including excellent water quality, lifeguard services, a medical station and visitor information infrastructure. We warmly invite everyone to join us and share this special moment together!" says Bohdan Krasavtsev, Head of the Sustainable Development Office at Bukovel resort.

Please note that the exact opening date of the swimming season depends on weather conditions. For example, in 2025 the lake welcomed its first visitors on June, 6. We are going to announce the official start of the swimming season separately.
