Please check hotel connection to the resort water supply!

At Bukovel, water safety is treated as a strategic priority. The resort operates modern wastewater treatment facilities designed and implemented by a leading Austrian engineering company. In addition, we have our own advanced water filtration station that supplies the entire resort infrastructure with clean, safe water in full compliance with Ukrainian sanitary standards.

The purification process is multi-stage and includes treatment with safe flocculants, disinfection using sodium hypochlorite and the FLOKS-12M system, two-level filtration through quartz sand of different fractions, and ultraviolet disinfection that effectively eliminates bacteria and viruses.

Water quality is monitored continuously. ATP levels in drinking water are measured daily, while bacteriological testing is carried out twice a month. Sanitary and chemical analyses are conducted quarterly in cooperation with the Bohorodchany branch of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

All test results are documented both digitally and in paper form, ensuring full transparency and traceability of control procedures.

For Bukovel, water quality is not just a technical issue – it is a matter of safety, trust, and responsibility toward guests and employees. At the same time, the resort cannot be held responsible for water quality or engineering systems located outside its territory.

Over the past decade, Bukovel has repeatedly appealed to sanitary authorities to address water quality issues in nearby settlements such as Polyanytsia and Yablunytsia. Unfortunately, effective solutions were not implemented by the responsible institutions.

Today, Bukovel is actively co-financing the development of urban planning, design, and land-use documentation for the construction of wastewater treatment facilities outside these settlements. The goal is to localize and resolve wastewater discharge issues affecting hotels, guesthouses, and other facilities in the region.

The project documentation has already been prepared, publicly discussed, and is currently in the final approval stage. The planned treatment facilities will have a capacity of 4,500-5,000 cubic meters per day.

We kindly ask all guests: when planning a trip to the Carpathians, especially to areas near Bukovel, please ask your accommodation provider – whether their water supply and sewage systems are connected to the central Bukovel network.

Bukovel consistently invests in safety, infrastructure, and responsible resource management. Because true comfort begins with essential things – clean water, transparent standards, and honest responsibility. This is how we define a modern European resort, and these are the principles we follow daily.
