Strong Spirit's Games nationals: Grand Finale in Bukovel

From September 5 to 7, Bukovel once again transformed into an arena of strength and resilience. In the heart of the Carpathians, the grand finale of the All-Ukrainian competition took place, where candidates were selected for Ukraine’s national team to represent the country at the upcoming international tournament, Strong Spirit's Games-2025.

The event was organized by the Strongman Federation of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Veteran Affairs. A total of 220 participants – veterans, servicemen, and representatives of Ukraine’s security forces – stepped up to the challenge. They tested their limits in nine demanding disciplines, from bench press and kettlebell snatch to rowing and air bike. Each performance was more than just sport; it was a testament to how physical challenges can help rebuild both body and spirit after the trials of war.

The atmosphere was truly inspiring. Among the honored guests were Nataliia Kalmykova, Minister of Veteran Affairs; Dmytro Lubinets, Ombudsman of Ukraine; Vasyl Virastiuk, MP and Honorary President of the Strongman Federation; and Serhii Koniushok, President of the Federation. Their words of encouragement underscored a powerful truth: every veteran who stepped onto the platform was already a winner.

As the general partner of the season, Bukovel proudly supported this initiative. For the resort, this competition was a chance to stand with Ukraine’s veterans, offering them new strength and recognition, and proving once again that Ukrainian resilience knows no limits.

After the competition, participants were invited to recover at the newly opened Mavka aquapark – a themed oasis where nature, water, and the magic of the mountains create the perfect setting for rest, recovery, and a well-deserved pause.
