HUTSUL CAROLING IN KRYVORIVNIA

On the Christmas morning, Hutsul caroling begins near the 300-year-old church in the village of Kryvorivnia. This event is totally worth it! Everything is so vibrant, colorful and unique, moreover, nowhere to be seen in the entire world. That is why Hutsul caroling is included into the UNESCO cultural heritage list.

Wearing traditional holiday costumes, which are reserved exclusively for important events, hundreds of Hutsuls gather near the church to recieve the blessing, then carry the joyful news of Christmas to every corner of the village. These Christmas parties don't miss a single house! Hundreds of voices sing along to the accompaniment of authentic instruments, creating a powerful echo among the mountains.
