SPARTAN TRIALS AT BUKOVEL
On 25 July 2026, Bukovel will host a major sporting event organised by SPARTAN, the world-renowned creators of OCR challenges and trail running races.
This summer, the resort welcomes SPARTAN TRAIL 2026 and HURRICANE HEAT 2026.
The event offers something for everyone – from experienced competitors to first-time participants eager to test themselves in amateur mountain running or demanding team challenges.
SPARTAN TRAIL 2026
SPARTAN TRAIL is a mountain trail race that forms part of the global Spartan series, built around the idea of pushing one's limits through endurance and determination.
The course follows natural mountain terrain, featuring steep climbs and descents, forest trails, changing surfaces, and spectacular panoramic views. Success depends on endurance, pacing, and the ability to manage your energy throughout the race.
Distances: 10 km and 21 km
Every finisher will receive a commemorative medal and an official Spartan Trail 2026 T-shirt.
HURRICANE HEAT 2026
Hurricane Heat is a unique team challenge that combines physical endurance, strategic thinking, and teamwork under constant pressure. Rather than following a fixed race format, participants receive tasks throughout the event as the scenario unfolds.
Working together, teams complete a variety of challenges that may include mountain navigation, carrying equipment, strength and functional tasks, collaborative problem-solving, and exercises designed to test both physical and mental resilience.
Formats: 4hr / 12hr / 24hr
The longer the challenge, the tougher the tasks and the greater the demands placed on every participant.
Each format comes with its own exclusive finisher's medal.
Participants who complete the longer formats will also receive the finisher medals from all preceding distances.
