MIDSUMMER NIGHT AT BUKOVEL

Mysterious and full of life, Ivana Kupala (St. John the Baptist's Day) is the most ancient summer holiday in Ukraine. We are pleased to welcome you to Bukovel, in order to fully experience the extravaganza of this mysterious midsummer night!

Start: 4pm

What will happen is a huge folk-influenced celebration with singing, live music, dances around the bonfire, ancient rituals, courtship, guessing and chanting.

Starting at 4pm on the festive day, a series of workshops is scheduled to introduce guests to the ancient tradition of crafting talismans and motanki dolls, as well as thematic contests will be here and live performances of some talented local folks.

Dive deeper into the mystery of midsummer night with “Femflower” stage performance. The act shall begin at 9:30pm.

According to the legend, fem flower reveals its blossom on this midsummer night. Flower so rare, almost unreal, that led to the belief of it being capable of giving wisdom and ultimate knowledge of the world, heal wounds, help find treasures and provide aid in love affairs. Let it be you to find the mysterious plant this night, and let miracles unfold!

The festivities will start at 4pm, in the square, located near the small lake.
