Welcome to Tavel, to the recently-opened exhibition, which introduces guests to the artistic treasury of a local master decorator, Stefaniia Sandiuk.
The artist is the laureate of the Soviet republican contest "Young Voices" (1979) and the bronze award of the All-Union contest "Art belongs to the people" (1980). Stefaniia’s personal showcases have aroused interest in Japan, Chile, Canada and Ukraine. Some of the artist's works can be found in museums: Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Museum of Local Lore, St. Petersburg Museum of Ethnography of the USSR, Ivano-Frankivsk Museum of Local Lore, Toronto Taras Shevchenko Museum, not to mention private collections in Ukraine, Canada, USA and Italy.
The exhibition features 20 works from Stefaniia’s creative heritage, donated to the resort from the family archive by her son, Honored Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Sandiuk.
