Official Facebook website of ski resort "Bukovel" was named place #1 in Ukraine in number of check-ins.
As of today the website has over 25 000 check-ins and left behind the second popular spot of Ukraine – Boryspil airport (24 429 check-ins).

Facebook allows users join certain geographic spots and thus share info about their location with their friends. Users can also join (check-in) a certain spot by using smartphones and other mobile devices with integrated GPS-systems.

Ukrainian resort #1 offers free WI-FI in all our facilities. During the year of 2012 we plan to cover all the territory of the resort including ski trails with fast WI-FI. It will enable the wide use of mobile apps with geo-locating functions. In the season 2012-2013 all guests of the resort will be able to spot their location at the resort as well as learn about the services available, reserve table in our restaurants, call for rescue service, get the hints concerning the surrounding geographical names and directions of reaching the destination place.

 Early September 2011 PlusOne DA agency (Kyiv) introduced websites of Bukovel in social networks VKontakte and Facebook. Communities of our resort in these social networks unite fans of winter and summer sports, active recreation and health-improving in the Carpathians.

“Bukovel” is the largest ski resort in Ukraine and offers to our guests the longest winter season – over 5 months of skiing, and also over 50 km of perfectly snow-covered and prepared for skiing trails, 16 fast ski lifts, various types of accommodation in our hotel fund, restaurants, night clubs and other services. Ski and snowboarding school BukovelSkiSchool was acknowledged the Ukraine’s best in 2011 and won the “Choice of the Year 2011 Awards”.
